We all know the importance of avoiding toxic effects on our life - whether literal or metaphorical - and promoting the more healthy elements of our lives...
... but how can we practically apply that, especially when it comes to other people?
Jean-Paul Sartre famously said "Hell is other people", but how can we navigate our way through the people who, truly, for us, are "hell"?
I give my clients one simple piece of two-pronged advice - "Seek out the Radiators, and Avoid the Drains".
We all know Drains in our life... those people who just seem to suck the life out of you - think Dementors in Harry Potter - and don't give you the chance to reflect on and reach your potential.
Radiators, however, do the opposite. Often making you feel like you're the only other person in the world, they have the wonderful ability to boost your energy from there own fabulous charisma and enthusiasm.
So, increase your Radiators, and diminish your Drains!
